All Ways Around in Madrid.

Madrid, the biggest city of Spain, with her openhearted and open-minded residents is the city to see in summer.  The classy city of Madrid is appreciated by many for it’s amazing constructions, tourist sites, “plazas”  and shopping areas. Besides being a highly interesting city to visit, Madrid is also a very environment conscious city. The wide streets that divide Madrid are plenty of beautiful trees that give one the impression of peace and quietness whilst being in a huge city. You can see that the planning of Madrid has been well-done.

In order to see the city you can rely on a very well elaborated public transportation network.

Madrid by Metro.
When you plan on visiting Madrid, keep in mind that the best way to get your way around in Madrid is by metro. Madrid possibly has the best public transportation network in Spain. For something Madrid is the capital you would say of course…

Getting around by Bus.
A nice bus ride can be easily done from 17 euros per person onwards. This is the typical hop on – hop off tourist bus. It is very handy.

Madrid Walking.
Be prepared to walk in Madrid. Be prepared to walk a lot in Madrid might be more suitable for the occasion. Madrid, due to its magnitude, is a typical city where you can easily spend hours and hours of walking.

Go to Madrid especially in summertime from June onwards. You should be prepared of standing extreme heat the city can dispose but once the evening sets in Madrid offers you the possibility to enjoy one of her terraces eating a tapa with a glass of the national product, wine… There are many bars and restaurants around, especially in the neighbourhood of “La Latina”. Also at the surroundings of the “Plaza Mayor” you can find the finest and the cosiest places.

When you go to Madrid, a great way of staying over there and live like a local, is to rent an apartment in Madrid. Just like in Barcelona apartments are a very popular way of staying in the best neighbourhoods at most interesting prices.
