Kids do not want Fairy Halloween Costume
If you know me a little, you know I'm Belgian.
In Belgium, which is always celebrated Day All Saints and All Saints, 1 and 2 November instead of Halloween and I can not say that these issues are great fun to write.
In Belgium, too, the weather is always rainy, so, since I work in a school, children tend to be rather on the inside and out, and always find an activity for them to do not get bored.
This week I also had to find some Halloween subjects to write.
Then I found the solution: Instead of writing an article dedicated to Halloween and called "Top 10 Halloween Kids costumes" based on the articles and information written by adults, who asked children what Halloween costumes to dress like them Oct. 31.
I must admit I was terribly disappointed. When I was a kid, I loved being dressed like a princess, the baroness, snow white, etc. for the carnival, children were dressed as Robin Hood: Prince of the thousand and one nights, cowboys, Indians, Musketeers …
But what kind of clothes do kids like 2007?
I asked the children to school, what kind of dress who wants to wear for Halloween.
The answers were diversified even though they do not have much of magical touch.
"What kind of Halloween costume that for Halloween, Sylvie?
"Scream Costumes, including masks, of course, Madame Domi!
He was only 10 years! I thought his answer would be a Cinderella or Esmeralda costume. No! I wanted to wear clothes of the murderer from Scream. Why? Because the film Scream was more interesting I saw!
Anais response was:
"I want a rich dress witch costume with a pointed hat, a black wig, a long nose aquiline, with a big button on his long nails like claws and pointed shoes.
Agon hesitated between the Devil's costume: the same as in the Bible, with a tail, a fork, horns … or a pirate costume.
"In Like Johnny Depp in Pirates of the Caribbean?" I asked.
"No, sometimes pirates are the skeletons and want to be a skeleton-ghost-pirate. "
Another responded:
"I wear the Monster Mash costume, lady."
The Kid probably heard the Monster Mash when he saw television program The Simpsons' Halloween. I love the song Monster Mash, but never saw the Monster Mash in person and do not think anyone saw this monster and knows what kind of suit he wears.
The youngest children interviewed want a dress Superman or a Batman costume.
My greatest surprise was Cynthia's response, which we call Brutus because he is a sensible girl. Cynthia wants to wear a princess dress.
Thus, the top 5 Halloween Costumes for children are:
Scream murderer costume
Witch costume,
The devil costume,
Pirate costume
Batman or Spiderman costume.
I'm going to interview my 40-year-old friends as I dress as Halloween costumes!
I think I'll be surprised!
