Having your holidays to Malia is just one of the best ideas a person could think of, especially for those from the younger generation. Malia offers so much for this age group, from lazy days on the beach to a vibrant nightlife. This great holiday place is situated on the island of Crete.
With Sissi in the east, Hersonissos in the west and the airport of Heraklion just twenty miles away, it is not hard to get there. You will find many places you can eat at, and if you need a place to stay, then there are many accommodation buildings with a bed or food to offer. There are restaurants for those who enjoy eating with plenty of time to spare, or, if in a hurry, then the fast food places or snack bars may suit better.
Day life can be full of things to do, especially with a beautiful sandy beach. If you are someone who likes sports then there is football and volleyball you can join in on. If you like water activities then there is water skiing and jet skiing, or take to the air with paragliding or parascending.
The nightlife can be just amazing with dancing, music and discos that go late into the night. There are plenty of music bars, pubs for that round of drinks with friends, or cocktail bars. Whatever your idea is of a great time, you may find it here.
There are many shops for the shopaholic to visit and they are open till late. Traditional life can be far quieter on Crete than the life in this part of Malia. If you have had plenty of activity and would love a little peace and quiet for a day, then Malia village can be found a little further south.
Summer is one of the busier times of the year and one of the nicest. Visitors are welcome during spring, autumn and winter or anytime of the year. You might sometimes forget what the day is when in this place, as there are a great many things which can occupy you. So many, you will never be bored.
